In the year of 1973 Christina and Bo Ohlström opened the first rock shop in Sweden.

During previous years they had been living in the U.S. and there got caught by the Rockpox- trend.

In their shop minerals and fossils were shown for the first time in Sweden as interior art objects and/or as collecting pieces.

Jenny Ohlström was born right into the business and joined from the beginning her parents on their trips around the world.

In 1990 the shop downtown was sold and in the late 90-ies the wholesalebusiness moved up to Södermalm in Stockholm.

In 1995 Jenny opened her own shop: The mine of gems
